The Wheatlands Metro District and YMCA will be doing a grand opening for a new park they have built in the Wheatlands Metropolitan District. Come on out on Saturday, October 19th from 1-3 pm to cut the ribbon at 1:30 pm. The Wheatlands Metropolitan District is a local governmental entity responsible for providing certain infrastructure and facilities to the Wheatlands community, for example, parks, the YMCA clubhouse and pool, irrigation, landscaping, streets, etc.
