Priscilla Leary, D.D.S.
Dr. Priscilla Leary completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in public health with an emphasis in epidemiology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed advanced education in general dentistry residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. The Residency at UNM provided Dr. Leary with experience with hospital calls, surgical extractions, bone contouring, IV and oral sedation, pedodontics, and special needs dentistry. She fell in love with Albuquerque and decided to stay to practice dentistry with Perfect Teeth.
Dr. Leary is very enthusiastic about dentistry and is currently studying with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry to become credentialed in implantology. She hopes to bring several dental services to this location including, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, implant placement, and restorations. She is also a member of the New Mexico Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Her goal is to become a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
Dr. Leary’s favorite thing about being a dentist is interacting with her patients. She is looking forward to providing quality care and wants her patients to feel safe knowing they are in good hands.
In her free time, Dr. Leary enjoys rock climbing, running, traveling, going to concerts, karaoke, and exploring the beauty of New Mexico with her husband. She also has two Mainecoon mix male cats that love to cuddle and play.
Other interesting facts, Dr. Leary is fluent in Spanish, speaks some French, and studied Japanese for five years competing in speech contests. If you teach her your native tongue, she will learn!
