Joy Steen, D.D.S.

Dr. Joy Steen believes in providing dental care that meets the individual needs of each of her patients. Dr. Steen graduated in 2006 from Bethany College with her bachelor’s degree in biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Steen chose dentistry because she wanted to help people to be able to eat without pain and smile without shame. Growing up, she noticed that people often smiled and laughed the most genuinely when having a meal with family or friends. Being unable to fully enjoy these activities can limit someone’s outlook on life. She is honored to be a small part of helping a patient in their life journey. When Dr. Steen is not taking care of patients, she enjoys being with her family, exploring various walking and hiking trails, cooking, and scrapbooking.
