SMDC’s Health & Wellness Council invites you to celebrate health and wrap up the year at their Health & Wellness Holiday Soiree!
Enjoy a healthy breakfast, networking, some holiday treats, and great giveaways! Come prepared to deliver a 30-second elevator pitch of your organization if left standing during our game of musical chairs! This is an opportunity to enhance your knowledge of the Council, its initiatives and connect with participating members. Meet other wellness champions, share best practices, talk about a health service your company provides, and learn from like-minded individuals.
We will be collecting toiletries for Dayspring Villa an Assisted Living Community nears Sloan’s Lake.
When an older adult lives on Medicaid they have very little extra income for expenses. If they have a phone to stay in touch with family, that amount is even less. Providing toiletries to these older adults reduces the strain on their monthly expense planning, and ensures their basic dignity remains intact by being able to take care of those daily living tasks we may all just take for granted.
We will be taking donations of:
Shampoo and Conditioner
Bar Soap and Liquid Body Soap
Wash clothes and shower puffs
Toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss
Body, face and hand lotion
Small candies and socks are also welcomed as well
Tip: If you travel for your job and do not use the hotel toiletries we would gladly accept those as well.
